Honoured as a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in October 2014, Tandis Jenhudson is a composer, musician and producer whose work encompasses that of film, television, theatre and songwriting across many genres.

The London-born self-taught composer followed a rather unorthodox path into the world of music. While finishing his PhD in medicine at UCL, it was a chance encounter that led to him scoring his first film.

Jenhudson first stepped onto the scene of film music composition when he scored Jean-Philippe Tremblay’s acclaimed feature, Shadows of Liberty (2012). He went on to score John Akomfrah’s 2014 BAFTA-nominated ‘The March’, recounting the events leading up to the historic march that culminated in Martin Luther King’s famous “I have a Dream” speech. Most recently, in 2014, Jenhudson has completed scoring a National Geographic documentary in collaboration with BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Christopher Riley. Tandis has also just completed the soundtrack for ‘The Treehouse’ a dark fantasy drama by frequent collaborator Amy Coop. Furthermore, Jenhudson scored the 2014 feature documentary, Little Stars of Bethlehem, narrated by Stephen Fry, which was selected for the Breakthrough Strand of London UK Film Focus
